Michelle

Michelle has been involved in the art world dating back to a small child, entering art competitions at every opportunity. Michelle paints and has had many successful exhibitions with her artwork, working mainly in acrylics & mixed media. Her artwork can be viewed at Body Modz art gallery.
Wanting to work for a living being in the creative field lead her to become a signwriter serving a 5 year apprenticeship, in this time becoming NZ’s top apprentice & winning awards through the NZSDA, she then went on to run her own signwriting business for a number of years.

Michelle had a passion for tattoos and has many, this lead her to take a look at tattooing as another avenue for her art. Finding two fantastic mentors to help her on her journey she soon found she had a talent for the art.
Michelle has a passion & drive for tattooing she says “It’s not like having a job or going to work the daily grind when you do something you love and are passionate about.” “Everyone who is interested in tattoo’s should be able to have one….or many! They don’t have to cost the earth”. “I have clients that pay as they go with their works of art, we do what you as the client can afford.”

Michelle has built up a regular client base consisting of people from all walks of life coming from all over NZ, and some as far as the U.K, some just pop in to say “Hi” when they are passing through. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to Michelle, at Body Modz Tony & Michelle have created a friendly & relaxed atmosphere and also client privacy when you are getting your artwork.

Friends are welcome to come along with the client, and there are also toys to keep the kids occupied while mum or dad get their artwork done. Tony & Michelle will take the time with you to discuss your ideas, inspections of the studio and hygiene procedures are more than welcome.
