I have been an artist since childhood. Being surrounded with a family full of artists was certainly an inspiring upbringing. I am a skilled body piercer. I found using just the piercing blade, created not only a challenging task, but a very rewarding skill, that can only be described as an art form. I enjoy using NRT’s, for difficult piercings’ such as inner conch’s which prove difficult to get to, or your traditional tragus, which can be preformed either freehand, with a NRT or with forceps. Piercing Gun’s I will never use. I trained in Auckland under my Mentor Shane Johnson, who is an exceptional body piercer, with a wealth of knowledge about the piercing industry and the up skilling required, to further extend one’s own skill base. I received certification in body piercing, and will continue to share ideas and learn from Shane. This not only raises the bar of quality, our customers know they are getting quality work, when coming to Body Modz for their modifications.
I started out tattooing at the age of 16, and have been back and forth between tattooing and my other career since.
